Well, had this machine for only a couple days now and it crashed on me several times. Apparently when you try to erase some sounds from the flash card the MPC decides to freeze. Lemon? I dunno. I was just working on a new beat, saved it as "save all seqs and songs" and the MPC decides to duplicate "save all seqs and songs" without asking me to replace the already existing one on my flash card... so when I try to reload the beat, of course SYSTEM ERROR!!!! THERE'S 2 FILES WITH THE SAME NAME ON THE FLASH CARD!!!!! CANNOT LOAD!!! CANNOT LOAD!!! SEQUENCE LOST!!!!! THANKS MPC1000!!!!!! Anyways, I don't know why the f*ck that happened. Just before that I was making my own programs with sounds from the preset programs that come with the MPC, then I erased the presets when I was done. Maybe that made the MPC angry and made it crash and corrupt my beat. Who knows. It's really love/hate with these friggin machines. Anyone know why it would have saved a double "save all seqs and songs" without asking me to replace the existing one? Thanks.
