This is strange I think.. I loaded some sounds from my mac into the Compact Flash Directory (SanDisk II Ultra 2 GB).. However, I can't seem to load but 2 sounds from the mac to the MPC..

I have folders (Example: Kicks, Snares, Hits, Hats, etc).. Eacn one has about 20 sounds in it that are listed (Example: New Snare 1001, New Snare 1002 etc... )

Then, I had only loaded about 30MB of sound in the 2GIG card and the Computer was telling me that the card was full... Can't figure it out.

Should the Compact Flash Card be formatted and the files organized in a certain way to make it work properly?

Thanks for the help.

Are all the files in wave format? Cause I had the same prob with some of the samples I put on my cf card from my Mac and it was because the samples were in AIFF(standard uncompressed Mac music file format). I had to convert them in iTunes and then it was all good.
So check that out broski.

Peace.

Actually,

I just accomplished what I wanted to accomplish. After upgrading my OS on the MPC (which I hadn't done yet) and also renaming the files so that they have no spaces in the file names (call it a coinsidence) it worked.

I had realized the AIFF / WAV conflict a few weeks ago. (Thanks for the heads up though).
