GOT IT!!! LOVE IT!!!

I finally got the 1000 and i love it alot. This is my first Mpc and i finally get what yall saying, it feels better than fruityloops or any software sequencer.
One question though, I was trying to sample in the digital input but no signal was coming up, what do i need (different cable??). The swing feature is the shit. It has more than enough sample time, i had 49secs in stereo. LOve it!!!

got my second one today...

its a machine and a half.

despite some small bugs...this lil blue thing has some serious beat making magic.

its just really tight, and even with a normal 1/16th quantised beat, the Mpc 1000 some how swings things quite sweetly.

the 1/16 triplet is wicked...completely Neptune.

the machine does have a sound character...and it does have a nice clean sound with out the over EQ'd sound on the Low End.

However with the FX like the EQ and the Master EQ n Compress you can make the Kicks and Snares as Phat, Punchy and Neck smacking asyou want.

then put it through a DBX or something.

i sync the Digital Out to my Pioneer CDR and it starts from the beat...then take into Logic Audio...where the beat get further treated, layered, etc.

but yeah...this unit is wicked overall.

As long as you have perfectly Trimmed samples, then the playback timing is pin point accurate.

the Envelope filters and High Pass & Low Pass are the biz...when used correctly.

its nice to hear that ure happy with the unit though.
