Hey beatsmiths,
I am having trouble recording from an external device other than my turntables. I check the levels for sound and they appear to go left and righ, but when I press the pad to play the sample from the dvd (cd) or computer after sampling a sound, my sound is only coming through one side. I can take a nice sound from a movie and the levels are fine, but when a music CD is in is when I am having trouble. I checked and first saw that I recorded the sound in stereo. I resampled the sound in mono but the sound is still one sided. I have looked in the forums for help but cannot find any info. Any help would be great.
PS. I've been recording for a while but just got my first MPC1000 just two weeks ago.
