Sorry for the question tried search but couldn't come up with an appopriate answer
How can i set the 1000 to mute the sample played on a pad just by hitting the pad again.
Eg I got a four bar loop playing, and wanna drop say the snare out. The snare and kick are on track 2, how can i hit the snare pad to drop it out?
Thanks in advance

you can use the mute screen and mute track 2 only when the snares hit. un-muting it before the next kick.

you could move or re-record your snares to be on their own track, then use the mute screen.

Try recording instruments on their own tracks that way you can use the Track Mute screen.

For the current track, if you dont wanna re record the snares, just copy the track (Window Key, Copy) with the kicks and snares together. Now you have 2 tracks of the same instruments. Now go to step edit (Mode Pad 14) on both tracks. On one track delete the kicks. On the other track delete the snares. Now you have two different tracks without re-recording.
