"eveeryone stop worring about studio, industry standards make music "

Maybe you should try following your own advice instead concerning yourself with what we spend our money on.

Besides, no one is talking about a $4000 MPC here except you. This is the MPC1000 (<$900) forum, if you care to read the title.

sorry to bust your bubble. When did the mv8000 come out? last year? well where have you been all these years. The best music ever made used drum machines made in the 80-90's. if you talk hiphop. all the best rap songs that ever came out of our generation came out no later than 1998, when there was no mpc4000 nor mpc1000 nor mv8000.

So mv800 aint no industry standard because all the music you ever loved was not done using it and believe me not every hot producer is going to jump to it just because its new.

why cant people stop saying one machine is the right way to do. Nothing is better than the other. My fav rap song of all time was done on mpc60 and ever since all these 2k,4k,1k, came out nobody has been able to come out with classic material like back in the day. that doesnt mean the new ones aint great. But then again dont say one machine is wack because something new is out.

all gears out there are good. Nothing is wack. The one good reason i like roland products is because they supply a video demonstration cd. I saw one for the 909 and it was really helpful. even i didnt own the 909. They really want you to get a feel of it. the video tutorial covered just about everything. thats something akai should think of. But wait, if they do then there probably wouldnt be a site like this.

he is just mad that he bought the mv8000 and is now regrettin his decision, so to make himself feel better he is going to put down the competition.

One thing I have noticed about the mv8000 when I was playing with it in a store, is that those pads are a cheap immitation of the MPC pads. And the mv dosn't give you the impression that it has a 'soul' inside... you know what I mean :)

something must be wrong then if u feel u have to come to a mpc forum to put thempc down. u should be making beats on ur new "incredible" machine buddy instead of posting a stupid topic like this.

besides u will be back to the 2kxl.
