Dual KAOSS Pads and Input Thru

I am trying to run two KAOSS pads as external effects using Input Thru, and I can't seem to get it to work.

I have KP1 on MPC output 1 and then KP1 out connected to the Right input on the MPC. I have KP2 on MPC output 2 and then KP2 connected to the Left input on the MPC.

With input thru set to stereo I can only hear one KP, not both. If I set the input to R or L I can use the respective MPC so what gives?

So no one has any clue so far? Common guys I'm stumped.

Is it safe to use some sort of splitter to combine the two KAOSS Pads outputs to the same input on the MPC?

you can use a little mixer to return the kaoss pads in stereo to the mpc, but i also cannot understand why it is not working your way.
did you use the left channel on both kaoss pads? some musical gear only use the left channel when used mono.

as i have only one kaoss pad i cannot reproduce your setup, but i´ll try with another effect device.

I did use the left channel of both KAOSS pads.

I think I may have solved my problem though, I am using only the left out of the MPC because with my band there are only 8 inputs on my buddies computer. I imagine that if I were to try connecting to the right output that I would only have the MPC on that output working. I suppose I need a mixer or I need to be in stereo on my buddies computer.
