If anyone can help me it would be fantastic. I have an old mpc 1000 and recently it has started getting kinda funky on me. the biggest problem is that recently no matter what i do, any sample i record pans heavy on the right side, and thus any sample i play while i produce is 80% on the right monitors. I have gone into the 'mixer' function and all of the levels rad that it is in stereo and that it is recording both left and right equally. However, no matter what i do it still record 80%+ on the right side, i have even tried three different plugs for the recording and it still doesn't fix it. Please help me. Also quick question, how do you add 'swing' to a beat to change it up automatically? :o

The pan is a well known bug (look in the JJ OS forum to see it documented) although nobody seems to notice it happen so often (as you describe).

If it is happening systematically, I can only guess the following: either one of your input leads or connectors is dead, either you inadvertedly changed your sampling mode from stereo to MONO R.

Regarding the swing, just hit the TC button and play with the parameters.
