whats up everybody the problem iam having is where to start when i sample do you guys find the orginial tempo of the sample first and when you chop do u still have to find the orginial tempo after that do u timestrectch the sample then go on to chopping can someone help me out here advice is greatly appreciated thanks

personally i work out the bpm(of the sample) before i go timestretchin....when i was new to it ,it seemed like i could never get stuff to loop properly...a bit of practice and its a pretty straightforward procedure now

oh ok cause all iam doing is find what i want to sample make sure its loop correctly and then chop it into how many slices i want and then try to make something out of thats i know it has to be more too it something thats iam missing

dunno,your method sounds as valid as any other technique...do what ever works for you and sounds cool
