scratching over beats.

Is there a way to scratch over your track you made all on the mpc itself. Could i play a beat i made and record scratches over it while i listen to the beat? I know i could scratch and record it liek a sample but it would be very hard if i cant hear the beat while im cutting. Any he;p will be glorious. Oh also... i know how to resample my own ouput and i knwo i need to upgrade my memory first so i have enough sample time to record full tracks. but how can i do this by track like record it by resampleing into the mpc but start with the drums then add in everythign else. build up. instead of just playing it all a oncce. if that makes sense. it would be like.. can i use the track mute function when im resampling my own output to record my beat how i want it. solo tracks after certain amount of bars etc.....


also anyone know the actual release date of 8 diagrams.?

Mode-pad/5 switch from analog to main out then you can record tracks from the main outs using track mute to build up..

all you need is JJ os !

well enlighten me about jj os, how to get it, how that would allow me to do what i am saying etc.... i am kinda newcomer

It's a snap with the JJ OS. I did it the other day. Great feature.

ok well chill but i know you have to download jj os onto your comp then onto your cf card and then install it. but on my laptop i do not know how to get it once downloaded onto my cf card there isnt a slot for that type of card or anything.. help paleez it sounds so easy with jj os i want it i just dont get the middle step of how to get it on the cf card from the computer/.

Buy a usb card reader or connect MPC to laptop with usb and mount it.

ok got it mounted and everything. but i dont have 128 mb memory yet its in the mail so when i try to load it it say all memory will be lost. does that mean that all my ish on my cf card will be lost if i load the jj OS? do i need to wait till i have the upgraded memory.

Your CF will not be deleted. Just what's in ram will be deleted.
