mpc 1000 timeing issues in loop mode?

i have been noticeing some timeing glitches with my mpc 1000 when i use it in loop mode

i have a 131 bpm 2 bar loop happening in loop mode, i have a constant 16th note closed high hat sound going on, but i notice when the loop cycles back to 1 the chh's timeing gets pushed a bit...

is there anyway to fix this?

this could be the reason.

what OS are you using.

also check if the 'Closed Hi Hat' sample you are using is Trimmed properly from start to finish.

also try using 'Decay' to shorten the overall length of the sample and it also smooths the end of the trim.

reboot the MPC 1000 and start again and see if it still happens.

it shouldnt really be doing this...the 1000 is a tight sequencer.

better at slower tempos...

i have tried fast 2-step stuff and still prefer Logic Audio for that.

the MPC is more for laying laid back grooves.

people produce Drum n bass with these MPC's, but half the time they use Loops as the main groove to work on.

but by programming DnB from scratch on the MPC its not quite the same as Logic.

in Logic's Matrix editor you can fine tune things by timings less than even ticks.

so that may be a overall difference between Soft n Hardware.

swing is at default 50%
timeing correct is set to 16 notes

and am using latest OS
