cf issue

has anyone had issues with the 1000 not seeing cf cards. Last night I was loading a bunch of samples onto a new card via usb, I formatted the card before. After the transfer I turned off the mpc and went to sleep. Today when I started to work, it can't see the card. PC can not either. Other cards work fine. So any ideas on if somehow I freaked this card out or what?

did you "safely removed" and disconnected the USB cable before turning of your MPC1000?

yea I "safely" removed it. I figured it out kind of. You can hear the interior of the cf shaking around a little, but I was able to get it to work sometimes by how i put it in the drive. I just trasnfered the data to pc and am not using that card anymore. I don't remeber dropping the card or anything, but who knows I was messing with it the other night when I was pretty loaded. the mpc rocks, though.
