what else do I need

I just got a MPC yesturday. I got the deal with the MPC, 128 memory and gig bag for about 950 in yokohama. I have a 1000 left. I live on a ship so TT and a mixer are out of the question, but what else can I use. I have a midi keyboard already.

man...this is a tuff one to answer.

I think you should know yourself what yuo need. It will be YOU and NOT the equipement, that is going to make those phat beats. So i think you should sit down and think what you need and what kind of music you will try to make.

The only thing I can recommend is to buy one of those portable turntables from Numark, and spend the rest of the money on dusty vinyls.
