SanDisk CF card - corrupt files

This is starting to become very annoying..
Ive had a couple of Sandisk compact flash cards now for my mpc 1000 and both of them have ended up having major issues.

One of the problems is just randomly itll change the text of an entire folder to some wierd syntax crap, and the other is sometimes it wont even let me transfer some folders to my pc.

This has happnd to quite a few people as well, i done some research and googled it . Is ther anyone out there that has an answer or a solution to this????

Its getting very annoying as i keep having to try and back everything up and re-format my cf card evrytime this happens

I have the same problem with my Sandisk Extreme III 2.0GB CF card in my MPC500.

It sucks, I'm currently using the stock 128MB card from Akai. To find if it's realy my 2GB card that is causing my trouble.

Are you using Akai OS 2.10? If so then it's not the memory cards that are corrupting, it is the OS corrupting your memory cards.

That OS has a bug in their formatting routine which will eventually cause your files to corrupt.
