bpm and program?

just got the 1000 for traveling purposes. I like my 3000 but to big to travel.
I'm picking it up quick but:

How do i change the BPM's without having the whole track slow down like a record?

And why when i save a program and go back to the seq., the sound is not there. i have to go and set the program again i was working on for "EACH" track i used in the seq.?

I like to change the tempo to check which one i like but the whole seq. slows down like a record.

1st you got me confused for someone who doesn"t know how to program beats.

2nd on the akia 3000, if you are familiar akia products, slowing the tempo/BPM's does not effect the sounds at all. they stay the same!

3rd on the Akia 1000, all the sounds slow down they tune down with the tempo/Bpm's.

So you probably shouldn"t be on here answering ?'s

Well they aren't supposed to do that. Maybe you made a patched phrase by mistake instead of just a program of chopped samples.

A patched phrase will automatically stretch to fit the tempo, but on the 1000 a regular program will act just like you said on the 3000, if you are familiar with akai products

That's not how it's supposed to be behave, is it doing it with ALL your programs or just one (or a select few)
