new user on MPC HELP

wats crackin all! jus got mpc! been bangin out some basic stuff, lovin it, wats the best way to load samples on without takin up all the memory, this happens after i try load up about 10 files? is there a way i can delete all the pre programmed samples already on it.

i bought a Broken Breaks sample disc from loopmasters, is this good for samples/ mpc use?

I'd say the best thing to do is make sure you've backed all the preloaded stuff up on to a CF card or your computer, then turn off autoload. reboot the machine and you should then have an empty MPC. This'll give you a bit more room.

However, the one big thing you can do is buy the 128MB memory upgrade. This'll will cure what ails ya

Also check out the JJ OS. It's unsupported by Akai, but hey you can't get much support from them anyways. JJ OS adds a gang of features to the 1000 that otherwise wouldn't be available. If you dont like the JJ OS, simply re-install the Akai OS.
