un-assign a slider?

nothing in the manual about it,

anyone know how to remove a pad's slider assignment once it has been chosen?

sorry to ask so many questions tonite....

go to where it says "assign pad" on the slider option. Then turn the data wheel all the way to the left. then it should say off.
