There is a "note repeat" function that will hold and repeat the sample in the given time signature.

not really what you are looking for, the MPC will not in any way do the work for you like FL will but it will inspire you to find new ways to make beats.

you got 16 pads, and you can have 16 notes of a given sample. This is when you want to have them under your hand. But you can also adjust the pitch in a menu. If I remember well, it goes from -12.00 to +12.00.

the closest thing to a piano loop is the step edit mode in mpc
