why evrytime i load a sample and try to slice it it tells me not suffecient memory when i have a 2 gigs memory card for mpc 1000

the memory card is for storage, did you blow out your ram?

Stop the sounds from autoloading. (Instructions found in the manual)
If sounds are autoloading when you turn on the MPC, they are taking up RAM. When you sample it goes to RAM, not the CF card. Also, max out your 1000 to 128mb RAM.

i worked with a file 110mb and i couldnt even delete a peice of it to make it smaller in size the mpc1000 told me not enough memory. heh bug reporting time
