hey yall

im still researching on MPC etc, thuroughly so i know which one to buy. Like many others, im torn between the MPC 1000 & the 2000XL!

i just want the asnwers to a couple of questions

1)whats the deal with storage? whats an SCICI drive or disk? and how will i be able to save my sequences/songs on the MPC's?? surley floppy drive lets you save f*ck all cuz floppies are so small??

2)the MPC1000 boasts USB connection, and i qoute 'it lets you drag files onto your desktop'!!! can it also be used to import wav. files from your PC to the MPC for editing and sampling and sequencing??

3)each MPC boasts 8 outputs! what are these for? are these an output for each sequenced track, so you can EQ and Pan, fade etc externaly with a mixer on each track of your sequence?? or what??

cheers yall

a) scuzi is the interface for certain drives like jaz zip or some hard drives . basically it loads and save faster the ide type drives. dont go floppy not alot a capacity.

a) seperating sounds used for the track for more mixing since the mpc has a mixer on it.lets say your song consist of 7 sounds (on the mpc) u can run these into seperate channels on your mixer for teaking
