LCD question

I don't know if this is in the right section. But i was wondering if i can find one, if I can take a white lcd from a MPC2000XL and put it in my mpc 1000. Or if i can get a white piece of LCD from somewhere else and fit to the mpc 1000. My screen isn't broken I just think it would be cool.

let me know if you find anything out on this. I always wanted to hook an external port to the back of mine. that way I can plug a external screen that is sitting next to my tv LCD or in front of me. instead of always looking down.
