Pad Question

I'm trying to record some sequences for a song. When I hit the pad to play the sample more than once. The sound always over laps. Is there a way to set it so that I can hit it more than once and the sound won't over lap? Holla back!

Easy, Hit MODE+Pad 7, then go to Params and go to the upper right hand corner and switch the program form POLY to MONO. DONE
