mpc1000 soft reset?

maybe someone knows this... is there a way to reset the 1k, so that it is in the same state as if i just turned it on with nothing in the Autoload folder?

(without turning it off and on)

delete everything in the folder.

yeah but then i have to reboot to get the clean slate goin on, right?

try erasing the whole program by going to mode:program then highlight the program name up top: hit window: then delete.

Then you should hit the Purge Sounds button in Program mode, but this can take a LONG time, particularly if you've autoloaded from CF instead of internal memory. (which will happen if the CF card is in and contains an autoload folder) Then you've got tons of preloaded sounds which occupy a lot of space in memory.
