1k/Ableton Live Question

Sup Fam,


I just got my MPC1k and I'm using it in conjunction with ABLETON LIVE 5.2. My question is I hooked my MPC to PRESONUS FIREBOX. When I hit my pads I get a split second delay in the sound I hear from ABLETON LIVE. Where do I make the necessary changes in order to lesson that delay? Kinda hard to make beats when there's that split second delay in the sounds that you hear. Thanks in advance for your help Fam.

sounds like it could be a latency issue. Does Abelton have a choice of buffer settings in its preferences?

Did you install and select the asio driver for your interface?

Ahhhh RINSEOUT. THat did the trick. I hadn't selected the ASIO driver in ABLETON LIVE. Thank you so much RINSEOUT. An I also want to thank POUND for his assist as well. Much appreciated.
