Using the MPC-1000 Sequencer?????

Can u sequence VST Instuments from my pc?

I have a bunch of VST's that I would love to implement in my beats using my MPC sequencer but don't think it can be done.

If it's possible, what is the proper setup to accomplish this?? Bless...

Are you saying that with this cable I can use the VST which lies in my PC and record it into the sequencer of my MPC??

you'll record note data on your mpc...like

note 35 at 127 velocity for X ticks
it'll send that data through the cable i showed you
and your PC will play the vst.

this is how folks control reason and vsts from their mpcs
and yes, it can do what you're hoping,
and yes, i was fking psyched too when i realized what i could do.

And just to confirm this performance can be sequenced in the MPC? If this is true I am going to do a backflip right here at my desk. :lol:

Now...the USB end of this cable in the picture is small!! What is the exact hookup to make this work? None of my USB ports are that small in size. That almost resembles the size of the end that goen into a digital camara.
