i just got a 1000 and i have a few questions. i actually went through all my drum breaks and chopped up each individual sound and put them all in seperate folders by song. i shut off autoload and i'm wondering what would be the quickest way to load these drums in their own program? and also what is the max amount of programs i can make on the 1000? the last problem i might have is that when i chopped up the sounds i labeled them all "kick1, snare1, hat1, etc." being that the samples might have the same name but in different folders will the mpc not let me load the samples with the same name even though they are in different folders? please help

There are programs for mass-renaming files, like this one: http://www.321download.com/LastFreeware/index.html#jv16

For the program thing, only advice i can give you is to do your future chopping inside the mpc, theres an option to create a program with the slices.

if you rename the samples then the programmes you made will not load correctly because they will call up the wrong sample names.
I second rinseout's recommendation to chop in the MPC instead, or to use individual sample names (i.e. kick-JB, Snare-JB etc).
