easy way of Importing Wavs to the mpc1000. Need Help!!!

So I did some research and I figured out how to load wavs into Reason 3.0 via redrum but I do not know how to import them to my 1k. I purchased some sounds in the form of wavs and im anxious to use them on my mpc.

Also I have a Roland Phatom Keyboard that i made beats on before. I can also use some help on recording tracks for my beats on the keyboard into the mpc and just doing the drums on the mpc. I tried it with midi plugs. keyboard midi out to mpc midi in but all it did was change the sounds in the keyboard to the ones i have on my mpc when i need it to be the other way around. Please advise

i recommend reading the manual thats my advice theres also a way to transfer sounds via usb..if u want to resample sounds from ur synth u can also sample via digital out or analog ins on ur mpc.. but if there ur comp and u have all ur sounds on ur comp just use the usb to transfer them

I have the maudio midi plugs on one end and usb on the other, thats how i connect my mpc to my laptop but Im not sure how to actually transfer the sound. is there an easier way other than reason?

i dont know anythi9ng about reason or redrum. but if u save ur work into wav format 14400sample rate 16bit. then all u gotta do is drag ur sounds into ur mpc via usb. turn to the manual page on the mpc1000 on how to mount it and how to unmount it its easy.

This is an odd approach. Well odd in the sense that I don't see it being possible to "transfer them from Reason into the MPC"

Maybe sample them into the MPC while you trigger them in Reason?

If you figure out what you were told by that person, please share the details.

Sorry man, I misread it. you cant do that with reason. for some reason though my mac isnt recognizing my mpc so i cant drag the files. should i be using the regular usb cord to connect them. or my maudio adapter that has connects the midi outs to the usb in the computer?

why not just save the wav samples to memory card and import them into the mpc, or you could save it from reason as a midi file ie export as midi , put it on memory card and pop the sequence into your mc then swap and change the sounds as u like, you could even get your mpc playing your keyboard thr midi with the midi file u made in reason.

technology really is so interchangable nowadays that there is so many ways of doing stuff its just a case f what u want to do and how you find is best for you. just remember that the mpc will only play sounds that it has stored as a wav sample but can play external units in midi , just keep fiddling and experimenting till you get the set up your after, i`m forever changin my set up it never stops!
