is it possible to delete all the files on the internal?

memory? all those garbage "dj hip hop" sq etc...the ones that come with the mpc.

You have to overwrite it with, only way

if u wanna get rid of those packs that come with the mpc u can go to program select the program by its name click window on the name and then hit delete.. then after u delete it hit purge this will delete this will then delete all the sounds form that program.. then go to save once u deleted all that u didnt want and make an autoload of an empty seuquence with no programs.

It wont save "all programs & samples" without a sample, but btw who cares about the internal memory anyway?

u can delete the autoload folder in the save menu using the window key. ya u cant have an autoload of no sequence no one sound etc. but u can have a song ur workn on alot for autoload.. i always use autoload

you want to delete them or just make it so they don't autoload when you turn the MPC on?

You need a blank CF card
Edit one of the samples down to 1 frame(small as it can get) and rename it 'blank sample' or something like that.
Rename one of the programs 'blank prog' or whatever.
Go through the program unassigning all of the samples from the prog- with the exception of A01 which you assign the blank sample to.
Go to save prog+samples and save it to the Cf card so it autoloads.

when you next turn it on with the card in it will load, and the only prog/samples loaded will be 'blank prog' + 'blank sample' or whatever you named your blank/default ones
Go to save and you need to save the entire memory to internal memory.
Hit do it, and you will see it erasing the crap thats stored on there from the factory and saving the new ones in its place.

next time you turn it on it will say 'loading samples...0%' and stay on 0% as there is nothing to load.
