note off problem.

Hey there,

Just upgraded from a 2000 to a 1000. Was wondering how you do the 'note off' function. i thought it would be programs next to poly and mono? tried looping the sample as well.

any help please ?

Hey there,

By note off i mean: In the Akai 2000 there was a function under program called 'poly' 'mono' and 'note off'. 'Note Off' was when you held down the pad to get the full sample. If you left go at any point through the sample, it would cut out. It played for as long as you held down the pad basically.

go to Pgm page. hit the pad u want to change , hit the window key and change to note on or note off...
im not at my MPC now but im pretty sure thats how it works...
