how are those tact switches working out for you?? a few of mines need to be pressed extremely hard in order to move the cursor, so a good replacement is needed..

how are you pads holding up??? if you're still using the ones you made??

tact switches are fine, i actually have to replace my MAIN key soon.
still using the ones i've made, still working good. still also very sick of the process of mass producing them though.

Dude? I havent been on here since i replaced my 1k with a 2.5 6 months ago and your still on this, button/pad fixing thing. Arent you just pushing shit uphill? I admire your perserverance and all though.... I wonder if my piece of shit 1000 is still behind the desk it got pushed behind when i replaced it. get angry just thinking about that junk pile.

i wouldnt g so far to say the 1000 is a piece of shit

but the build quality isnt top notch but what is now a days...... the 2500 has its share of problems as well as 2000xl's.. the only really really well built mpcs were the first 3, 60 60II 3000......

i've soldered just a bit on one of my vestax faders, but i also burnt the pcb on my 1200 audio cable....

what temperature or voltage setting should i use?? 15w or 30w?? and also is this the correct tact switches, they look awfully familar to the ones ant posted a year ago...
