Midi 1000 Reason

I wanna export my midi from the 1000 seperately to use in reason.
Anybody know a shortcut? (like tracking)

when saving a sequence you can choose the option to save it as a .mid file instead of a .seq file

Like i tried that but it exports all the midi... i mean like each midi track seperately

well then say you have a sequence with 6 tracks in it

make 6 copies of that sequence, in copy 1 delete all tracks except for track 1. save the sequence as Seq1Track1.mid

on copy 2, delete all tracks except track 2. save the sequence as Seq1Track2.mid

and so on...

that would be one way to do it, but I thought midi files had track support -- Reason doesn't allow you to import multi-track midi files?

i know cubase has an option to 'dissolve part ' - seperate channels - maybe look for something like that in reason.....

Splits them up perfectly for me. not sure what he could be doing wrong
