MPC 1000 Hard drive

HI i am new to the MPC 1000 and i wondered if could get some advice on where and how i can put a hard drive in my 1000 i know it is a kit, but is it a case of buying a kit then any PC hard drive fits if so what gig can you upgrade to? If an yone can shed any light on this issue it would be alot of help thanx in advance!!

you have to buy first an adapter kit (HDM10 is the akai reference), this is a piece of hardware that will hold the HD insde the MPC and interconnect with the unit.
Then you need to buy a HD, there's a sticky thread about what HDs work or not, just read it.
