Would Acid Pro 4.0 and MPC 1000 complement each other well?

I'm wondering what the more experienced users think of using Acid Pro 4.0 and MPC 1000 together. I have the 1000 and thinks it's great, but it's limitations and bugs (although very few and minor, for me anyway!) can be a little frustrating. Would Acid Pro complement the limitations of the 1000, and is Acid Pro really worth getting for Hip Hop Production.

The beatmapping feat. of Acid looks very helpful and tempting! Does anyone know the low down on Acid Pro? Is there anything that is better: easier to use, more funtionality, more useful functions for sampling than Acid? Any info would be a big help!

As an Acid Pro 4 user myself, with a bit of hard work it is possible to get professional sounding results - I have used it to score a number of tv ads and a few short films.

At the moment I am deciding whether or not to get an MPC 1000 for entering drum parts, and for sequencing on the move, but I can't see any reason why the two would not integrate well together - you could play in a drum part on the MPC, then Acid's looping facility would take over from there, for example. The only question is whether or not you prefer sequencing on the computer or using the hardware route.

nothing beats acid for working with loops. I love getting a basic track together with Acid and then programming other parts with MPC - and the USB links make it easy. Its also possible to put together nearly a whole tune and Acid and using the MPC to perform it live
