Hi Folks,

say you work on a beat, and you don't like what you're hearing.
You decide to kick in into the trash. You already saved and you
don't wanna switch the mpc off and on again.

Is there a way to purge the memory? to ged rid of everything loaded into
the ram.

greetz,

Satoyo

Don't think you can clear it all in one go.
You can however,
delete all sequences = Press open window button while in sequence field of the main window.

Delete all programs = Press open window button while in program field of the program window

and lastly

Delete all unnassigned samples (which will be all of them after the last step) = Press Purge [f6] while in the sample tab of the program window.

That should delete everything.
Your on/off button is probably a lot quicker though

here's the best way (for me at least)

1) turn on your mpc and make sure nothing loads up automatically (autoload should be off)
2)save the entire memory as a project (name it something like BLANK.prj)

and....THATS IT!!

from then on whenever you want to start over
instead of turning off/on your mpc, or purging, JUST LOAD UP THIS BLANK project!

it will clear your entire memory in less than a second!
peace.
