HELP ME PLEASE

why does this keep happening. Its really F***in annoying. I try to save. and then my memory card is full. i delete some stuff and then i go to save and it still wont.... WHY IS THIS SOOOO CONFUSING TO DEAL WITH. MAN THEY NEED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS. I HAVE TO LOSE MY BEAT EVERYTIME AND THEN SINCE I SAVED IT EARLIER AND THEN TURN IT OFF AND THEN ON AGAIN I CANT LOAD WHAT I SAVED BEFORE... I AM STARTING TO HATE MPCS. ITS MORE DIFFICULT THEN IT HAS TO BE F UC K

How many megs on your memory card?

hey dude why dont u just sample smalll and punch in and out of recording..if ur using the mpc1000 with akai 2.11 os then just do that if ur working with 32mb of ram..shit i punch in and out on parts i want to use..and fine edit the start and end points in the trim and loop screen... the problem with u and what ur tryn to do is ur not workn around the problem u are working into one.. u need to sample small ...the mpc aint no loop based sampler.it can loop and work like one but its not a good idea for the reasons im about to give...think u only got 128mb or 32mb to work with...u gots to think how many baps and booms do u need to repeat in a brick of a sample? sample small man and stop crying...a daw is for looping not a sampler..shit the idea behind a sampler is to create a beat in any way u want it but not hit one pad and play an entire song..

RESAMPLE UR SHIT AND CUT AND SPLICE.

You might have some file corruption on your CF card. You need to back up all your files ASAP and then re-format the card. Unfortunately, if you are using the AKAI OS, the problem will just come back later, but you will be ok for a little while.

The only REAL solution is to upgrade to the JJ OS, and THEN re-format. That will fix the problem for good.

Or if you want to stick with the AKAI OS, you need to upgrade to version 2.11, then reformat. Supposedly they fixed the problem in that version, but I have not heard any definate confirmation about that yet.

REMEMBER THAT FORMATING WILL ERASE ALL YOUR FILES... BACK THEM UP BEFORE YOU REFORMAT!!!
