FROZEN MP

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find an answer elsewhere.

I was making an ill beat last night and was adjust the attack on one of my samples in a program and the f***ing thing froze. It's now stuck with the 'play' button light on, but with no music coming out. I was just wondering if there's any way back to my beat without losing everything (samples and all) that hasn't been saved?

I think that might be it for that beat my friend. But for the future, as soon as you get a feeling that you like what you're doing, immeadiately race to save that beat so this kinda of loss doesn't happen again. At the very least you won't have to redo the whole beat if you save as soon as you like it and save everytime you make any changes to the beat.
