Hey

I been looking all over the forum and cant find a topic about the capability of the mpc playing diferent audio resolution format, all I know is that my mpc plays with no problem the 16 bit sound files but when it comes to play 24 bit sound files it just wont, I can see them on the memory card, but mpc wont play or load these sounds.

Anybody knows anything about this?

Thanks. Thank god its not me.
EDIT: I can't tell if that is dude's chain bouncing off the floor, or his teeth!

Just to add: CD's only can encode (burn) at 16 bit depth (resolution), so the medium of acquisition (wer u get ur sounds frum) is also a limitation. Once we can beam samples straight from the 'satellite up-link screen' of our MPC8000's, we can start worrying about using 24bit (purchased) samples.

....2RAW, get a turntable homie!

don't forget you can have 24bit samples on a cd though...
