yes peeps... thought id come post here before i post up on the 2000xl forum an get the obvious answer.

i got a 2000xl but when i want to get overly creative it holds me back... such as the mute offs, if found ways round the limited mutes but its slooooooooows me down, plus im gonna get a keyboard and wanna jus work on the mpc rather than gettin a computer in the the way.

i understand the 1000 mutes off the whole program and you can record into it from a keyboard over what uve already slapped in.

is there any other differences you feel would entice me over... i love my 2000xl and wish i had the doe for both but its not practical to keep both.. should i change?... its supposed to feel cheaper blah blah i aint bothered i jus wanna be makin some fire, quickly.

lemmie know pzzzzzzzzzzz

honestly..try to save up some cash and cop the 1k on top of the XL.
having both machines is a lot of fun ..trust me.
just get a used 1k..and use it with XL pads.
dream come true.
used 1k will set you back like 400-500 $, pretty nice if you ask me.
good luck Sir.

p.s _ do not sell the XL!! :)
