By I dont have a mpc Wed Oct 10, 2007 12:58 am
i recently purchased this on ebay to use with Reason 4 cause it was recomended on the M-Audio site becasue the xiom can control and step edit in Reason 3 or higher and supplies drivers

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... :IT&ih=008

ive downloaded the video Where the guy hooks up MPc thru m-audio oxygen

to reason

and work

Is the Axiom applicable in this same situation ?

cause i plan on repairing my mpc 1K and hooking it up through the axioms interface

Is the interface Axiom better than the oxygens the same or lower in the same situation to work with reason?

and also since its as m audio interface on the back does the M-Powered rule apply since its a interface for m-audio
??????? that i could use with pro tools 7 le n such ?

The Axiom has a midi interface so yeah, you can hook the MP up to it. I would say that its not M Powered cause its not an audio interface and any midi interface should work with Pro tools.
And I think that guy hooked up the Oxygen 8 thru the MPC, not the MPC through the Oxygen 8 cause I just bought an Oxygen 8 and it only has a midi out. So the MPC midi out can't go to a midi In on the Oxygen 8 cause it doesn't a midi in. The Ozone doesn't have a midi in either. But the Axiom has a midi in, so you can hook the MPC up thru it, but I'd do it the other way around, but that's just me.
