MPC 1000 and Reason 4 automation??

My current setup is my mpc 1000 midi'ed with reason 4 as a sound module.Is there anyway i can record automation with the reason midi tracks??

im not sure wot ur really asking coz cant your just record and do automation live?

Yeah homie, but you have to use a MIDI Controller.

Like, for me, I have a M-Audio 49e Keystation. I can automate the Modulation or Pitch wheel, because there on the MIDI keyboard... But since I don't have any other buttons, or knobs to use... I can't control any of the faders or knobs on Reason, ya dig?

Like, for instance, the Oxy 8... That has all those knobs and what not, well you can actually assign those knobs to control whatever you please on Reason.

So all in all, it depends on what keyboard or MIDI Controller you're using.

Once you have the correct Cont. I can't quite remember how to program it, but it's all in Reason.
