Playback Issues Help please!

I'm having problems with the playback on my MPC1000. I'll load up all the pads with the samples I want and it sounds fine. But when I go to record a sequence, the playback starts playing sounds from a different pad and bank of what I assigned it to do? Anyone know how to fix this?

Check in step edit to see if there is anything that triggers a switch in the program that is being used at the begging of the sequence.
