just brought i hard drive does any one know.....

i broke my cf card slot so i figured i'd just buy the hard drive is it possibile to load samples from my pc to the mpc hard drive or do i need the cf card to transfer files onto the hard drive please help not sure if i will have to replace the cf slot as well or can i get by with hard drive via usb from pc to mpc.

you mean an internal HD correct? If so then yes you can hook up the MP to the PC via usb and transfer waves back and forth.

so i don't need the cf slot at all thanks because the guy at vst told me i would need the cf card to get samples on a mpc

No you can do it thru the USB connection

DON'T FORGET u will also need the mounting kit to install the hardrive securely.
