MPC-1000 with other FX

I read a tutorial once on a forum that taught you how to track out of your mpc into fruity loops, to take advantage of its FX selection mainly.

Ive used FL before but i like my mpc better, except i miss the EQ and fx that FL has, anyone ever combine the two before?
