sound output

Stereo out on my MPC only plays the Left side. The LEFT AND RIGHT outputs only play the stereo leftside. I've tried all the settings, read the manual, searched online ect. I only get a mono output through the stereo outs when I am recording live, or recording songs and seqeunces. this driveing me crazy. I am useing protools w/ m-box. The problem resides however within the MPC becuase I checked the outputs w/ headphones.
I can't fix this problem.
Does anyone have any recomendations?

do you have the rec in set to stereo in the rec screen on the MPC?

When I am recoring in stereo. But Setting does sTereo in record have anything to do with the out put? Aside from recorded samples?

are you trying to track into pro tools from the mpc? if so, did you check the mixer settings in the mpc? if you have your mixer setting for example pad 01 set to right for L/R then it's like you have it going out on track 1 into pro tools. not sure if i made myself clear. but anyway, check your "pan" settings in the mixer on the mpc.
