I just bought a used MPC 1000. After using a 1/8 to 1/4 adapter from a typical set of klipsch computer speakers i cannot get any sound when i play the stock Dj-Hip_hop sequence. The song seems to be playing on the mpc, but i get no output, no noise, no beats. Sorry for such a newbie question, gotta start somewhere. Ps. I have the 1/4 adapter split and going into the stereo out right and left on the back of the mpc, i have also just tried the headphones jack on the front. Thanks
