I purchased a 1000 in January of this year from VST and just sent it yesterday for repairs. Its under warranty but they told me that they would be replacing the crap pads with the same crap pads. QUESTION? ??Does anyone know if Akai is replacing old pads with the new 'upgrade pads' if its still under warranty or if they are replacing with the old crap stock. If Akai are replacing them with new upgrade pads, does that mean VST is claiming broken pads to akai getting these news ones selling them for $200 and doleing out the old stock of crap to those people under warranty pads saying we get the crummy ones
