More memory for my MPC 1000

I'm very new to MPCs and I'm a bit confused, what is the best way to boost my mpc's memory in order to use it for producing lots of tunes and playing whole live sets? I'm keen to get an internal HD for it as that way I can have the most amount of space for samples etc right? - what is the largest internal HD that will work in an MPC 1000? also can anyone sugest good hd's that work well inside MPC's? Any help would be awesome, thanks

Thanks guys, how much extra sampling time will the 128 expansion give me? will a CF card just give me more memory rather than more sampling time too?

The CF card gives your mores SAMPLE STORAGE not MEMORY. U have to get the 128mb Expansion in order to INCREASE your SAMPLE TIME(MEMORY).

hey, If you are talking about upgrading the 128 MB internal RAM, I got mine from a company on eBay called "Pacific Memory" out of Harrisonburg, Va ... only $30 w/ shipping and all.
