wouldnt hearing it with and without would be the only way to show what the effect sounds like?

i use the bit grunger all the time. it does not sound horrible. it makes me happy. i like it. i like it so much im tempted to say this thing would sound like shî† without it. i just made a beat with it tonite that would make your head fall off your shoulders! that's how hard your head's bangin!

it's a distortion sound, you can put on a little or a lot (i always use a little). that's all. do with it whatever the füçk you want

too much talking around here, it's like no one's using this thing. everybody's sitting around staring at it or something

it didn't make my vocal samples or guitar samples anything like the mpc 60 does. it make it crack a little more here and there and sounded scratchy, which is what i didn't want.

I find the bit grunger on the 1000 works well only on certain types of sounds. I've been using it on things other than drums and it gives a nice old school sound on the samples. However, I'm not really feeling how it sounds on drums. it's just too distorted, no matter on what setting, to sound really good. I still have to try it with drums sampled from vinyl though.
