looping a sample in TRIM MODE...

while editing loops in TRIM MODE, i always have to hold a pad down to hear my sample looping while i'm adjusting the start and end points...

is there any way to keep the loop sampling on it's own without having to hold a pad down? this would be a big help for when i'm extracting loops from my samples....

unfortunately no there isnt.. be a great option though to hit one time and let it loop while u addjust the offesets..sucks though cause my playloop pad is dieing.

u know thinking about os2.11 veiwing wavform in it sucks ass i highly recommend to upgrade to jj os 3.08 freebie version..atleast then u can see the wavform way better than u akai os..i shit u not but ur splicing will be as good as it is on a waveditor on a 21inch monitor ...like the log mode in trim for akai os ya u can bump it up or lower it so its not a distorted visual..its very handy in the jj os..i highly recommend grabbing it..

oh yeah... i'm already running JJ OS 4.93 and the editor is definitely better than the regular OS. maybe i should have posted this in the JJ forum... but i was just wondering if maybe there was some known function that i was completely unaware of that could do this. the cheaper Roland SPs have that HOLD button you can press while pressing your pad to keep the sound playing after you take your finger off it... just wanted to make sure i wasn't overlooking this option if it existed. thanks for confirming that for me though.
