Recording a sample via the digital i/o from my computer works. But after I press 'keep' all the sound from the mpc1000 stops. Pads and sequences seem to play, but there is no sound until I reboot the mpc. The recorded sample sounds ok. This happens in OS2.11 and JJOS4.93.
I couldn't find anything about this in the forums.

Can someone help me, please?

are u recording in digital and are u sure ur not using an rca cable..thast important..make sure u have a spidif cable and not an rca there is a difference.. as for ur problem i dont know what to tell u i think its pretty normal for mpc to stop ur track after the set time u set it for..its very normal for it not to play at all when ur at the keep or retry play window of the mpc1000...

question does ur mpc1000 not play at alll after the keep option and ur back to the main screen? help me understand better cause im retarded

i like to add that i do have a creative labs card in my computer..the mpc1000 only supports 44100 sample rate 16bit audio and if u got a 24bit sound card with spidif u might wanna crank ur frequency down to somthing ur mpc1000 can support like 44.1khz cause i have a feeling thats prolly it..ur sending to much juice to ur mpc causing it to wig out the way it does with spidif ..this is just a feeling i could be wrong i dont use my creative card anymore sense i bought me one of these compact flash card readers and upgraded to jj os witch made my compact flash reader extinct cause jj os ownz with usb auto unmounts

After recording some sound via spdif and pressing 'keep', the mpc1000 does not play anymore. Also in the main screen and on the phones output. I have to switch the mpc off and on.

It looks like a problem with my soundcard (Terratec dmx6fire). It sends to much data. Seems to work with the asio drivers so I can go around.

Thanks alot.
